GREEK CHICKEN GYROS

Greek-style quick and easy chicken gyros are easy to whip during a busy day with herb-marinated chicken & creamy tzatziki sauce wrapped in soft pita bread.

Ingredients

  • Chicken cutlets

  • White or whole wheat Pita Bread

  • Lettuce (optional)

  • Tomato (optional)

  • Roasted red peppers (optional)

  • Tzatziki sauce (homemade or store bought)

  • Oregano

Step by Step Instructions

1.    Cook/grill chicken to your liking. Check out my go to marinade on my recipe page!

2.    Arrange the pita on a plate or clean surface. Spread tzatziki sauce on pita

3.    Assemble the pita by filling pita bread with lettuce, chicken, roasted red pepper, tomato, and tzatziki sauce.

4.    Sprinkle Oregano on top

5.    Pair with a side of bell peppers, cucumber salad, Greek salad, etc.
